Emil Højbjerg

Emil is co-founder and CTO of PingPuffin with more than twenty years of software engineering experience. He owns the monitoring infrastructure end to end — from the global probe network that runs checks every minute to the backend systems powering status pages, alerting, and incident notifications.

Before PingPuffin, Emil was a co-founder and technical lead at EasyPractice, where he architected the systems that scaled the platform to tens of thousands of practitioners across Europe. He specializes in building reliable backend systems that handle high-volume telemetry at low latency, and in keeping small, fast-moving engineering teams focused on what matters.

Emil is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
